A leading U.S.-based trade association within the food industry is seeking a strategic, forward-thinking Executive Director to lead the organization and advance its mission. This senior executive will work closely with the association’s Board and professional staff to ensure the long-term health, growth, and impact of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the execution of the association’s strategic priorities and programs.
• Serve as the external representative of the association to key stakeholders, regulators, and partner organizations.
• Maintain and grow membership through active outreach and engagement.
• Provide oversight of governance, financial performance, and committee operations.
• Guide the development of high-quality member programming and communications.
• Monitor emerging trends and issues affecting the food and food ingredient industries.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to represent the association across diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated success in trade association leadership or a similarly complex, regulated industry.
• A broad professional network within the food, ingredient, or regulatory sectors.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of senior-level experience in association management or industry leadership.
