EventCurious is seeking a candidate for a fully remote, part time Administrative Coordinator. This contract position will be working with an EventCurious association client in the wedding industry. The position will be responsible for primarily supporting the Association’s Executive Director and Executive Board (as needed). This is an independent contractor position, not an employee.
Weekly Responsibilities:
• Work collaboratively with the Executive Director, National Executive Board and all others on staff with the Association’s management company.
• Manage correspondence (email and Basecamp) – responding in a timely and professional manner
• Prepare memos, letters, and other documents using Word processing, Google Docs, Excel, Google Sheets and the Association’s Member Center
• Serve as administrative support for the Executive Director for National Board meetings, Director meetings, and committee meetings – and attend those virtual meetings as requested
• Assist in scheduling meetings, developing agendas, supporting materials, note taking and recording minutes (as needed).
• Support administrative tasks in the areas of planning for association programs including monthly National Board meetings, bi-annual (in-person) National and Chapter leadership meetings, and industry trade shows/conferences.
• As needed, provide first-tier troubleshooting for access to and navigation of the Association’s website and/or Member Center
• Support the administrative review of the Association’s standard operating procedures (SOPs) and recommend efficiencies and improvements where needed
• Support of tasks that relate to updating leadership data across a variety of areas: the Member Center, Leadership Library and website to ensure it stays up to date
• Compile monthly Chapter membership and financial data to support the Association’s system for reporting the health of chapters
• Work collaboratively and efficiently in a virtual environment
• Other duties or projects as assigned

Must be very detail oriented and committed to upholding high standards while meeting task deadlines.
