NGA seeks a results driven professional to join an established trade association as the Executive Assistant to the President and CEO & Liaison to the Board of Directors. The position supports a fast-paced President / CEO with executive administrative tasks to include scheduling & calendar management, coordinating travel, managing expense reporting, drafting correspondence, maintaining accurate records, project management for special assignments and basic office administration.
The Executive Assistant also serves as a liaison to NGA’s Board of Directors. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining positive relationships with Board members and their team, coordinating Board meeting materials, monthly Board email updates, annual election process, and supporting 2-3 in-person meetings a year.
The successful candidate is a professional with expertise in managing multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced professional work environment. The candidate must be very organized, have discretion, be able to maintain strict confidentiality, and have experience managing senior executive schedules and complex travel itineraries. Experience interacting with C-suite, senior executives and / or public officials is essential. Must be a self-starter who is able to work independently.

Our offices are located on Pennsylvania in NW Washington, DC, near the Archives Metro Station. This position is based in our DC office and requires travel less than 10% of the time.
Requirements: A minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience is required. Proficiency in MS Office suite including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and Word is a must. Experience working with a non-profit / trade association board of directors is a plus as is experience supporting senior public or government officials.
