The goal of the Membership Technology Manager is to ensure that America’s Newspapers and the America’s Newspapers Foundation’s data are accurately maintained and utilized, and that the organization’s technology platforms are functioning in a manner that facilitates membership records, registration, conference management, etc.
Serve as primary staff liaison for association management system (AMS); this includes creating AMS documentation and training materials, provide AMS support to staff, and managing support requests directly with AMS vendor.
Conduct AMS data maintenance; research contact information; contact members for updates, etc.
Create/manage expanded database of members, merging their data with the appropriate Congressional districts and other desired information.
Manage the registration platform and work with the staff accountant to ensure proper payment and registration for events.
Facilitate distribution of messages to members (working with the communications team)
Utilize the organization’s data to gain advocacy intelligence and insights into member experiences and behaviors.
Monitor the organization’s data systems to ensure that they are organized, secure, and accessible.
Facilitate creation and maintenance of Spreadsheets
Implement secure procedures for data handling and analysis.
Employees work remotely and there is no central office
High level proficiency in MS Office (with particular emphasis on Excel/Access)
Proficiency in AMS platform. (We currently use Personify MemberClicks)
