WHAT YOU’LL DO As the Director, Content Creation you will:
Assist with the development of education strategy
Create and review education content
Support the development of application for educational grants and contracts.
Collaborate with the business development team to identify fundable education gaps and grant development that align with the overall APhA educational plan, which may include the full process of education development and creation.
Assist with internal and external market research
Serve as a preceptor for student pharmacists and PGY-1 pharmacy residents
LOCATION: Washington DC – Hybrid, two days a week in the office (Tuesday & Thursday)
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR APhA may be the right fit for you have:
A Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited school or college of pharmacy. Post-graduate training and/or board certification is preferred.
A minimum of 6 years of experience in an administrative or clinical practice setting; significant prior experience developing educational content for pharmacists or pharmacy technicians.
A minimum of 3 years in a management and/or residency program director/coordinator role, preferred.
The ability to work independently, handle multiple projects in a timely fashion, and adhere to deadlines and project plans effectively
Demonstrated success working within a team and leveraging individual expertise
Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
Successful project management skills
Experience in performing practice gap analyses, writing needs assessments, developing learning objectives, and writing assessment questions
A working knowledge of ACPE standards and adult learning principles
Prior experience with experiential and didactic instruction of student pharmacists and pharmacy residents
Strong customer service and collaboration skills
Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
Ability to travel to education meetings and headquarter training (up to 5%)
Preferred: Prior experience with Adobe Suite, Articulate 360, Learning Management Systems
