ABOUT THIS ROLE
We are seeking an Account Executive to join our Quest Oracle Community team! The Account Executive position offers a unique opportunity to work within a thriving community dedicated to helping Oracle users develop skills and expand knowledge by connecting with other Oracle users and experts for education and networking. The Account Executive is responsible for managing and ensuring the growth of existing accounts, prospecting new accounts, developing and executing sales strategies to meet sales goals, and cultivating business growth. The Account Executive will report to the Vendor Engagement Manager.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the sales and fulfillment for assigned events and projects
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales goals
Proactively pursuing new accounts
Managing and ensuring growth of existing accounts
Build presentations and proposals designed to grow existing and developmental business
Develop strategic plans for prospecting and cultivating new business growth
Using Salesforce to create and track contracts
Accurately reporting activity, projections, and forecasting
Represent Quest at meetings and events as assigned
Perform other duties and assist with periodic special projects
Serve as a primary contact for exhibit and sponsorship sales for Quest conferences and support with show floor management function
Budgeting
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field preferred
Project management experience preferred
Excellent computer skills and excellent organizational skills; the ability to manage multiple priorities
Highly motivated individual with exceptional communication and customer service skills
Positive attitude; comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Enjoys working in a true team environment
Ability to travel as needed
