Manage all aspects of the membership and chapter programs, including strategic planning, program and benefit development, relationship and volunteer management as well as oversee the customer care group. Responsible for member development and corporate oversight of the chapter system. Plays an active role in the planning and execution of all departmental initiatives.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Staff liaison to the Chapter Support and Membership Committee and all its subcommittees.
Implement the annual plan for membership recruitment, retention, and engagement, including the development of new benefits and outreach.
Create, promote, and administrate Chapter leadership tools, resources and development.
Problem solve and troubleshoot issues faced by the chapter leadership.
Ensure chapter compliance with bylaws as well as manage recognition of chapters through award program and publications.
Perform ongoing membership-related research and organizational benchmarking, including tracking and analysis of membership and chapter demographics and trends, and apply data toward the execution of chapter success, retention, and recruitment activities.
Oversees Customer Care Center, monitoring quality assurance procedures for CCC Team, providing assessment and troubleshooting as needed.
Collaborate with Marketing, and other teams, to proactively identify ways to leverage marketing channels and available technology to create member value.
Initiate communication to and from chapter leaders and provide them with necessary support to enable their growth.
Supervise membership programs, including individual member awards & recognition; member directory and job connect.
Uses effective presentation skills to communicate benefits of membership, value of involvement, and facilitate leadership training both through speaking engagements and one-on-one discussions.
Evaluates effectiveness of strategies, such as membership category and chapter structures, member & chapter benefits, and member & chapter policies and recommends changes as appropriate to attain goals.
Visit chapters and host webinars to show support, train and recognize the volunteers.
Plan and implement the Chapter Leadership Conference, Annual Awards Celebration, Chapter Volunteer Breakfast, and International Cable-Tec Game.
In collaboration with the department VP develop budget requirements; monitor expenditures against approved budgets monthly.
