Position Reports To: Operations & HR Manager

Basic Function of the Position: Manage registration for all Pacific Telecommunication Council’s (PTC) events, both in-person and online.

Critical Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review, recommend, and execute the registration process for all PTC events to provide a best-in-class experience, to include technology and hardware elements.
• Respond to registration inquiries and requests in a timely manner and with exceptional customer service:
  • Review incoming registrations.
  • Follow up and frequent communications with registrants.
  • Manage invitation letters and invoices.
  • Process substitutions and cancellations.
  • Answer and make telephone calls.
• Review, update, and maintain database.
• Manage the on-site registration desks and staff at the Annual Conference.
• Work on special projects and other duties as assigned.

Staff:

• Administrative support from the Executive Assistant.

Education/Training/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications or related field preferred or commensurate experience.
• 3+ years’ field experience, preferably in non-profit or technology related organizations.

• Must be able to work independently, as well as part of a team in a positive, flexible, and collaborative manner.
• Possess a positive, can-do attitude.
• Superior oral and written communication skills required.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
• Organization and problem-solving skills.
• Proofreading skills.
• Extreme attention to accuracy and detail.
• Work effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.
• Work simultaneously on multiple tasks and projects and able to set priorities and meet deadlines.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle information with sensitivity.
• Proficient with MS Office and e-mail.
• Experience as a host user for Zoom video conference platform is preferred.
