Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, the Partnership Manager works in support of the Endocrine Society’s relationships, partnerships, engagements, and special initiatives worldwide. The incumbent is responsible for planning, implementing, and reporting on these engagements with the Society’s global customers, membership, leaders, and allied professional organizations regardless of geography. The incumbent serves as an integral member of the Society staff and interacts with various department including communications, marketing, membership recruitment and retention, website development, strategy, event planning, and more.
What you’ll bring to the job:
BA/BS degree and a minimum of five years working experience in non-profit governance, strategy or related field working closely with senior management teams and member leaders.
Ability to work in a global setting across cultures and countries desirable.
Excellent interpersonal skills and outstanding ability to develop relationships with staff, external and member-leaders and a passion for customer service excellence.
Excellent written, editing, and verbal communication skills to serve global partnerships.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, with integrity, and communicate closely with colleagues and others in a hybrid and virtual environment.
A love of championing new projects, including development and implementation.
Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
Proficient English language skills required. Speaking an additional language is a plus.
Ability to travel domestically and globally approximately 10% annually.

What you’ll own:
Supports the development, implementation, and evaluation of Endocrine Society partnership initiatives and engagements worldwide.
Works on programming working with the Society’s partner organizations, including peer societies, funding agencies, multilateral organizations, governments, and civil society organizations worldwide.
Diplomatically liaises with the senior leaders of partner organizations to plan and execute projects, requiring polish and tact in navigating different cultures and customs. May serve as main Society staff person in some of these interactions.
Responsible for the development and maintenance of project plans, timelines, and status reports. Documents project milestones, scope, schedule, and costs. Oversees initiatives oftentimes from conception to conclusion.
Works with peers across the Endocrine Society to conceive of impactful programming, coordinate logistics, develop collateral and marketing campaigns, communicate with attendees, and evaluate and report on outcomes with recommendations for next steps.
Provides support for brand-consistent Society communications to critical partnership communities (e.g., peer societies, target customer bases, global endocrinology communities) including websites, social media, and emails. Assures quality, timeliness, and relevancy for content to key audiences.
Coordinates as needed with various other units on physical presence at domestic and global events including tradeshows, visiting speakers, and colleague attendance.
Conducts research on pertinent issues impacting the global endocrinology enterprise.
Assists in travel planning, visas, reimbursements, and other administrative functions as needed to support the success of global programming.
May be asked to provide staff support for governance committees or initiatives as requested.
Supports other initiatives as assigned.
Potential travel requirements involve domestic and international travel with possible work on weekends.

This position is located in Washington, DC and walking distance to Metro and major bus lines. The Endocrine Society offers a flexible, hybrid work environment.
