Exhibits and Meetings Manager
Are you an experienced Exhibits and Meetings Manager seeking new challenges with an innovative and diverse affordable housing and community development membership association?
The Exhibits and Meetings Manager will be responsible for sales and management related to exhibitors for NAHRO’s annual tradeshow; sponsorships for NAHRO’s (3) annual conferences; and advertising for NAHRO’s digital/print publications and the NAHRO website. Additionally, the position will assist the Director of Conferences as needed with logistics-planning related to the execution of NAHRO's (3) annual conferences.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Collaborates with Director of Conferences and Director of Communications to develop exhibitor/sponsorship/advertiser budget goals, strategies to increase sales, and marketing/promotion campaigns.
Solicits new exhibitor/sponsorship/advertisers and confirms previous partners. Manages strategies for generating leads and retention strategies.
Manages contract execution, invoicing, reporting, deliverables-management, contract-fulfillment and all communications for exhibitor/sponsorship/advertisers.
Works with NAHRO’s Accounting department to ensure that invoicing and billing for exhibitors/sponsors/advertisers are done promptly and correctly.
Collaborates with NAHRO’s Graphic Designer to design exhibitor/sponsorship/advertiser informational/marketing documents.
Updates and maintains exhibitor/sponsorship/advertiser data in association management system (AMS) and on the NAHRO website.
Produces and hosts sponsored webinars.
Manages annual NAHRO tradeshow from start to finish to include following:
Works with decorator to confirm floorplan and exhibitor kit info.
Selects/confirms exhibit hall vendors, confirms all logistics with vendors.
Supports the exhibitor registration process for conferences including responses to inquiries, confirmation, exhibitor staff registrations, and all communications.
Manages onsite exhibit hall from set-up through tear down.
Handles all details for on-site exhibitor re-book for following year.
Supports the Director of Conferences with other duties as assigned related to conference planning logistics for NAHRO’s (3) annual conferences.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Minimum of three years of experience with management of meetings with a preferred focus in exhibits, sponsorship, and advertising sales and management
Must have exceptional attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.
Must be able to work independently and be a strong collaborator.
Must be technology-able. Database experience preferred.
Ability to travel to NAHRO’s (3) annual conferences.
The salary range for the Exhibits and Meetings Manager position is between $58,700 - $88,100, commensurate with experience. NAHRO offers a generous slate of benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurances, transportation allowances, and retirement, among others.
