What you will do:
The primary focus of this role is to manage the activities of IANA’s committees, task forces, and working groups. The position also provides support for the Association’s member engagement activities. As IANA’s Committees Manager, you will:
Maintain oversight of committee related work plans and support of project/deliverable completion.
Facilitate committee resources development and dissemination, including maintenance of committee rosters, and participation records.
Manage committee meetings (pre, on-site and post) in association with IANA events, to include development and dissemination of agendas, presentations, and meeting minutes.
Identification of key industry issues for consideration as a committee project and/or educational topics.
Manage task force creation and charter development to address key issues identified by the committees.
Develop and maintain a knowledge of members’ operations, translating needs and challenges into committee engagement.
Assist with the onboarding of new members and facilitate engagement in the Association, with a focus on committee participation.
Support member relationship management by identifying under-engaged members and diversifying contacts at each member organization.
Support the identification of potential participants for educational programming activities.
What we are looking for:
A member-focused professional with an outgoing, positive attitude.
Experience with association committees is preferred.
Strong communications skills, with the ability to interact with corporate executives of Association members and business partners.
A self-starter with strong organizational skills with an ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines. Project management experience is a plus.
Highly proficient with the Microsoft Office suite.
Ability to quickly master enterprise information software, such as association management systems.
3+ years’ experience working in a fast-paced, professional environment, preferably in association membership.
S./B.A. degree required.
