The successful candidate will have:
- At least 5 years of applicable experience in digital communications or public relations on Capitol Hill or in a trade association, PR agency, corporation, or government office.
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, political science, or related field.
- Strong understanding of brand strategy and implementation.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of social media channels/digital platforms.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and project management skills.
- Excellent writing/communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to write persuasively, quickly, and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with social listening and a proven ability to identify and assess risks.
- Energy experience desired, but not required.

Compensation
The salary range for this role begins at $76,900. Starting annual salary will be determined on individual qualifications. EEI also offers an annual performance incentive which is prorated for mid-year start dates. This incentive is typically up to 10% of base salary. Office Protocol/COVID-19
This is a hybrid position which requires the incumbent to reside in the District of Columbia metropolitan area and come into the office a minimum of two days each week. All employees must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or receive a medical or religious exemption.
