Looking to make a difference? The International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation (ISHLT) is seeking an Education Program Senior Coordinator.
ISHLT is the world’s largest multidisciplinary organization dedicated to improving the care of patients with advanced heart or lung disease through transplantation, mechanical circulatory support and innovative therapies.
You will serve in a key role, providing the Society support for all in-person and virtual education activities including synchronous and asynchronous programming. ISHLT conducts an annual meeting, one day courses, consensus conferences, webinars and online courses. The position provides the opportunity to combine your flair for innovation, teamwork, and project management to support the activities and mission of the Society.

The Education Program Administrator is a fully remote or hybrid position, with the option to work in our office in downtown Chicago.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Development and use of abstract management system
Support reviewer and speaker management including invitations, ongoing communication and ensuring assigned tasks are completed by reviewers/speakers
Collection and organization of COI disclosures
Development of program materials
Coordination of program evaluations and accreditation, including CME evaluations
Collaboration with Scientific Programs Manager to ensure key meeting milestones are met
Support faculty management, including invitations, collection of disclosures and making sure presentation slides are submitted and edited
Schedule and participate in calls with faculty
Assist in program development
Coordination of program evaluations and accreditation, including CME evaluation
Assist in program development
Coordination/collection of event assets, including PowerPoint presentations
Production of webinars using Zoom Events
Provide excellent service and teamwork with staff, members, and volunteer leaders
Excellent verbal, analytical and listening skills
Well-organized and attentive to detail
Highly organized, creative, and self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent project and time management skills, as well as interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Work both independently and with a team
Must be able to work under tight time constraints and extended hours as required
Make objective decisions using sound judgment
Ability to travel 1-2 times per year.
2-3 years’ experience in association or nonprofit education
International nonprofit, member-based organization experience is a plus
Additional Preferred Skills/Qualifications
Experience with abstract management systems
Exposure to ACCME/CME
Proficient with meeting technologies, including Zoom Events
Familiarity with learning management systems
Proficient in MS Office
Ability to write business correspondence. Ability to effectively respond to coworkers, members, customers, and management.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
