AASLD is seeking a Director of Education, Evaluation, & Program Design to lead the design and evaluation of educational products and learning tools. This is an excellent opportunity to build a new team and create innovative and appealing educational content! This position offers remote/work-from-home flexibility for local candidates and can be remote for non-local candidates who are willing to travel for meetings. As the Director of Education, Evaluation, & Program Design, you will leverage instructional design principles to enhance, expand, and administer the AASLD educational portfolio. In collaboration with AASLD staff, member leaders, and other subject matter experts, you will manage the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of instructionally sound and engaging content for in-person, digital, and blended educational delivery. Reporting to the VP of Education & Professional Development, you will supervise digital education & learning, accreditation and maintenance of certification, and educational grants.

Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant area or equivalent work experience plus a minimum of eight years of experience in a similar role and advanced subject matter expertise. This position requires experience in Continuing Medical Education, instructional design, adult learning theory, curriculum design, educational research methods, program evaluation, and ACCME accreditation and familiarity with MOC, CME, the ACCME Policies and Standards, PhRMA guidelines, and the Physician Payment Sunshine Act. AASLD seeks individuals with previous work experience in a non-profit association, experience in healthcare, expertise in reading and interpreting financial reports, and volunteer management experience.
