OVERVIEW:
The Governance Administrator will provide administrative and governance support to the C-suite officers including the CEO/Executive Director and COO/Associate Executive Director.
Under the direction of the CEO/Executive Director, provide administrative support and coordination for the ASNR Board of Directors, ASNR Advisory Council, and ASNR committees as assigned.
Under the direction of the COO/Associate Executive Director, provide administrative support & coordination for the following managed societies:
- American Society of Functional Neuroradiology (ASFNR)
- American Society of Head and Neck Radiology (ASHNR)
- American Society of Spine Radiology (ASSR)
- Eastern Neuroradiological Society (ENRS)
- Southeastern Neuroradiological Society (SENRS)
- Western Neuroradiological Society (WNRS)
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
Provides administrative services for the CEO/Executive Director, COO/Associate Executive Director, ASNR Board and Advisory Council, and the six managed organizations listed above, including coordination of the elections, committee appointment process, and minutes.
This position includes potential travel to the ASNR Annual Meeting (5-7 days) per year, and local travel (approx. 1-3 days) to assist with activities which may occur during the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) meeting each year. There is additional potential travel to Regional and/or Specialty meetings, if necessary. Overtime may be required during the ASNR, RSNA and Regional/Specialty annual meetings.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide administrative support to the executive team, including the CEO/Executive Director and COO/Associate Executive Director.
- In conjunction with the CEO/Executive Director, coordinate Board and Advisory Committee activities including agenda preparation, scheduling, taking meeting minutes, and maintaining leadership rosters.
- Maintain the Constitution, Programs and Governance Policy Manual, and other governance documents of the association.
- Manage the annual officer nomination and subsequent election processes.
- Order and distribute officer awards.
- Working with the ASNR Vice President, coordinate the ASNR committee appointments; collaborate with the Marketing Manager to communicate appointments and the Senior Manager, Membership & AMS to record appointments in the database.
- Provide administrative assistance in support of the election and committee appointment processes for specialty and regional societies.
- Provide general reception and administrative duties and other support services as needed by the CEO/Executive Director and COO/Associate Executive Director.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with a member service mentality.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills: must be proficient in Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook.
- Proficient with technical aspects and usage of virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree preferred, with at least 2 years association or multi-management experience strongly preferred.
