The American Chiropractic Association (ACA) is seeking an energetic, highly organized self-starter to fill the role of Corporate Membership Manager.
The manager manages non-dues revenue programs for the association. The position also contributes to the organization by identifying new opportunities for raising revenues and streamlining processes to increase effectiveness and efficiency.
The manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of business development activities. The position helps develop and implement strategies designed to maximize profitability of the portfolio, ensuring products are well-aligned with ACA’s mission, members’ needs and ACA’s business strategy. They are the primary point-of-contact for corporate members, exhibitors, and sponsors. The manager is a member of the Business Development and Communications team responsible for content management and delivery on behalf of the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop relationships to maximize engagement with corporate members, sponsors, and exhibitors.
- Promote and execute all aspects of corporate membership, event sponsorship and exhibit hall for ACA’s annual meeting, including management of deliverables in coordination with in-house staff and outside contractors (including but not limited to event management and ad sales).
- Track progress and prepare reports to track sales, projections, and budget.
- Create and execute marketing plans, including email campaigns, event materials and advertising.
- Maintain and contribute to the business development database in support of revenue generation.
- Generate and identify new business development opportunities through research, analysis, and discovery.
WORK EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-5 years of experience in nonprofit management, event management, or business development
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related concentration
