Job Summary The Associate General Counsel and Director of Advocacy Initiatives serves as legal counsel to ACC on a wide variety of legal issues, including supporting ACC’s corporate governance. Lead ACC’s advocacy efforts on core issues of concern to the in-house counsel profession (attorney-client privilege for in-house counsel, gatekeeper liability and multi-jurisdictional practice) and the advancement of the chief legal officer as a critical member of the c-suite.  A partial list of duties and responsibilities include: Direct ACC advocacy initiatives pertaining to the role and position of the chief legal officer: attorney-client privilege for in-house counsel, gatekeeper liability and multi-jurisdictional practice and ACC’s Seat at the Table.
