WHAT YOU’LL DO
As the Associate Vice President, Profiles & ADVANCE you will :
- Maintain knowledge of provider credentialing, payment for pharmacist services, and pharmacist professional development to support product and business development strategy.
- Direct market research and marketing for pharmacists, student pharmacists, pharmacist employers, schools of pharmacy, healthcare payers, and others.
- Strategically assess market opportunities and establish business development priorities.
- Oversee, engage in, and track business development activities and progress.
- Manage negotiations and administer the contracting process for Pharmacy Profiles and ADVANCE.
- Serve as Managing Director for Pharmacy Profiles LLC.
- Oversee and provide customer onboarding and end-user support.
- Develop training for product users and subscribers as needed.
- Establish product roadmaps, manage technology development, and oversee data integration.
- Secure and maintain data sources, activity database, and state requirements essential to the functionality of Pharmacy Profiles.
- Manage budgeting and finances of Pharmacy Profiles LLC, including P&L responsibilities.
- Align Pharmacy Profiles strategy with APhA strategic plan, business lines, and operations where appropriate.
- Ensure strategic alignment between Pharmacy Profiles and ADVANCE®

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
APhA may be the right fit for you have:
- A college degree in pharmacy and/or business management (Additional internships, residencies, or degrees in pharmacy, business, or association management are desirable.
- Minimum 10 years experience in pharmacy, business operations, entrepreneurship, or technology development.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy practice, pharmacy industry, and provider credentialing.
- Detailed understanding of continuous professional development and pharmacy continuing education.
- Demonstrated ability to bridge strategic needs with tactical implementation.
- Substantial experience in financial management, concurrent management of multiple workstreams, and management of cross-organizational staff workgroups and outside contract workers.
- Ability to influence outcomes without direct authority, develop strategic partnerships, negotiate high-stakes contracts, and work with professionals across industries.
- Concise, compelling oral and written communications skills.
- Excellent computer skills and knowledge of major computer software programs.
- Knowledge of non-profit management preferred.
