The Heart Failure Society of America (HFSA) is currently seeking a Manager, eLearning to strengthen and grow HFSA’s eLearning portfolio. The position is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the HFSA Learning Center, oversite of the Annual Scientific Meeting virtual platform and OnDemand program, and the implementation of the Heart Failure Seminar program. This position reports to the HFSA VP of Meetings and Education.
This is an opportunity to evaluate and grow the eLearning portfolio of HFSA. We are seeking a creative, innovative individual who can oversee the Learning Center while also evaluating the Learning Center, program performance, design, and user journey. Primary responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
- Manager of learning center – including but not limited to vendor management, troubleshooting, provide technical support, review and upload content, document processes, and ongoing maintenance. Including but not limited to Industry Perspectives, Satellites, Board Review Course, etc.
- Monitor and track product sales and performance and make timely recommendations
- Designs, runs, and delivers reports from the learning center as requested by internal staff.
- Work with internal stakeholders including education team, marketing and communication staff, membership, development, and finance.
- Working with Director, Meetings and Education Programs, support the ASM Virtual Meeting – includes participating in the selection of the platform, working with platform provider to transfer data into learning center, etc.
- Responsible for ASM OnDemand – includes developing the program, creating bundles and core learning pathways.
- Implementing the HFSA Heart Failure Seminars – this includes recording speakers, creating front and back-end bumpers, audio editing, etc.

Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 2-3 years of relevant experience
- Experience with Oasis and Impexium preferred but not required
- Experience with remote learning tools such as zoom, zoom webinar, adobe connect, etc.
- Prior medical professional society or association experience is preferred
- Experience working with learning management systems.
- Provides exemplary service to internal and external constituents.
- Excellent organizational skills with a focus on details.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to provide recommendations based on insights
- Must have strong written and verbal communications skills and demonstrated project management skills
- Must be able to travel to attend HFSA ASM meeting yearly.
