Summary
This position will serve under the direction of the Director of Clinical Operations of the SVS PSO. The primary role of this position is to assist with data integrity, registry reporting, PSO regulatory requirements and supporting regional meetings.
What You’ll Own (Responsibilities):
- PSO workforce records and training (ad hoc and annually)
- PSO named physician records (ad hoc and annually)
- Annual and periodic updates to Inclusion/Exclusion criteria, CPT and ICD-10 codes
- Conduct initial screenings of research proposals and manage the research proposal approval process with the SVS PSO’s Research Advisory Council
- Supports quarterly calls with regional data managers
- Lead the source data auditing process
- Statistical/out of range data audit lead
- Work with external data vendor to provide data for annual AHRQ reporting
- Assist Director with registry creation and revision
- Assist Director with maintaining device lists
- Assist Director with customer support questions
- Assist with VQI annual meeting registry content sessions
- Lead staff person to manage registry committees to inform reporting improvements
- Other duties as assigned
What You’ll Bring to the Job (Skill requirements):
- Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner required
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 7+ years of experience in Vascular Disease preferred
- Experience working with clinical data registries, with a strong preference for familiarity with vascular or cardiovascular registries
- Must have a strong working knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 codes
- Highly motivated, results-oriented, and able to prioritize efforts to use limited resources efficiently
- Demonstrated skills to apply effective oral, electronic, and written communication methods with colleagues and volunteers
- Experience leading committees or formal working groups
- Ability to work effectively with all multi-disciplinary team members, both internal and external
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel required; Google docs/sheets, ability to learn new technology as required
Physical Requirements & Environment
Typical office setting with routine sitting and occasional standing. Routine use of basic office equipment and computer. Frequent travel is required for this position. Occasional evening and/or weekend work maybe required based on business needs. Telecommuting is allowed.
