We are looking for a passionate and highly motivated Member Services Representative to assist members in areas such as retention, recruitment, dues payments, billing cycles and peer recruitment, and explanation of policies as needed/required. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of the Senior Vice President of Field Operations and the Senior Director of Membership. Responsibilities include providing the necessary support to meet the organizational goal of growing and maintaining membership in all populations. The Navy League is conditions based telework environment, which means that each colleague may work remotely if their duties can be effectively completed while teleworking.
Duties and Responsibilities will include:
- Ensure timely responses to member questions, and update database with member information as needed.
- Help prepare daily payment batch uploads, in conjunction with manager of member services.
- Coordinate with the database administrator to solve problems, run queries, reports, and ensure the member portal and the database are in sync.
- Work with the IT Department to ensure membership web content is accurate.
- Ensure annual report data is accurately updated in council organization records.
- Streamline new member welcome activities, such as welcome letters, certificates, etc.
- Maintain organizational and historical records for councils.
- Execute decisions on changes to individual records when necessary.
- Ensure all members are stewarded with appropriate communications.
BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors degree preferred, but not required.
- At least one year non-profit and/or membership experience preferred.
- Database knowledge preferred.
