This is an entry level professional position reporting to the Executive Director, Architects Foundation (AF). The function of this position is to assist the Executive Director in the growth of the Foundation. This includes managing the Foundation’s scholarship programs, providing daily administrative functions of the Foundation, supporting the development manager with relevant projects, and performing other general administrative and programmatic support.
Scholarship Program - 50%
Work with Executive Director and others to identify, recruit and manage volunteers to various scholarship selection committees.
Create/update scholarship submission forms using awards administration software.
Craft communications to scholarship applicants, recipients and volunteers to keep them up to date on the scholarships administration process.
Answer scholarship inquiries through the scholarship email inbox.
Collect and file scholarship submission materials from newly selected scholarship recipients.
Process scholarship payments and arrange for other benefits for one-time and multi-year award recipients.
Maintain detailed, organized information on current and former scholarship recipients.
