This new position fills a cross-functional rolesupporting activities of the Association's Member Engagement and Executive Office/Governance teams. The incumbent plays an integral role in creating and delivering communications contentand is also responsible for themaintenance of the Association’s government relations system, andsupports day-to-day government relations activities.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Oversee the Association’s digital communications efforts including content creation and delivery.
Support CMAA’s social media?activities?especially as related to advocacy and public affairs.
Monitor government relations services regularly for Federal, state, and local activity on legislative and regulatory matters of interest to CMAA.
Better position our web presence to boost brand awareness and member engagement.
Monitor web analytics and recommend strategic changes to enhance user experience and drive user engagement.
Manage timelines and production schedules for digital collateral and other outputs from CMAA, including emails, infographics, data visualizations, and other?deliverables.
Provide day-to-day support for CMAA advocacy initiatives.
Provide copy for advocacy activities as?assigned.
Edit documents and publications as?assigned.

Knowledge of Quorum and government relations information systems
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in liberal arts, strategic communications, or public affairs; or combination of post-secondary education and professional experience
3+ years experience in digital communications/marketing and social media for professional society or trade association, in addition to experience in legislative affairs, government relations or public affairs for professional society or trade association, preferred
