Agile Alliance is a global nonprofit member organization committed to supporting people who explore and apply Agile values, principles, and practices to make building software solutions more effective, humane, and sustainable.
In conjunction with the birth of the Agile Manifesto back in 2001, Agile Alliance was formed as a nonprofit organization, 501(c) (6) trade association to support and disseminate information about agile. Alliance serves as the objective body propelling the movement forward.? Over the last 15 years, the Alliance’s work has primarily been done through physical conferences and the sponsorship of individual initiatives to grow the community.
Given the evolution of Agile, particularly over the last few years, the movement has spread into industries and initiatives outside of traditional software development. Today, our membership consists of a thriving and diverse community of more than 84,000 people – members and subscribers - who share those interests.
Our membership and staff enable the Alliance to provide a global set of resources, events, and communities to help people reach their full potential and deliver innovative solutions like never before.
