In this position you will contribute to PICPA's development of programs and services to enhance value for members across the state, as well as work on content curation, partnerships, and other association priorities.
This position is responsible for defining, designing, and developing new programs for regional and statewide members. As a member of the Member Programs and Strategy team, you will work with our members every day to build programs that help members connect with peers, learn, grow their career, and advocate on behalf of the profession. You will also work across the team to find innovative ways to grow the organization, through relationships and partnerships. This position will work closely across teams to deliver exceptional value to PICPA members and partners.
The successful candidate will have a strong professional presence, an innovation mindset, association and relationship management experience, superb communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to influence without direct authority. The candidate will develop and cultivate relationships with PICPA members and partners to create valuable experiences. Position requires travel within Pennsylvania (minimum 15%).
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
2+ years relevant experience
Association management experience or experience in a similar organization
Exceptional communication and relationship management skills
Strong analytical skills, especially using financial and quantitative data to inform strategy
Visionary thinker, able to think strategically and develop opportunities
Knowledge and proficiency in current Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office products
Engaging self-starter eager to learn about current trends and topics in the accounting industry
Additional Skills a Plus:
CAE, or other association credential
Knowledge of CPA profession, especially the corporate finance function
Advanced knowledge of data analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau
Position located in Pennsylvania and not eligible for fully remote work. Partial telecommuting schedules are available.
