Digital Education Manager is responsible for developing the digital strategy and roadmap for utilizing our digital education platforms. This role will serve as a leader in assessing education priorities and programming areas for application and delivery of world-class customer digital experiences, in addition to working with a team focused on the OMAcademy. This role will be responsible for the administration and ensuring overall functionality, analytics and content development utilizing digital platforms like webinars, podcasts, and our Learning Management System (LMS). This Manager will understand current learning technology capabilities and identifies emerging technology opportunities to engage our customers (e.g. use of learning management system, remote proctoring tools, virtual reality/augmented reality, apps, gamification, community boards). In addition, this person will work very closely with multiple stakeholders and content owners across the association, to evolve and strengthen our education platforms and ensure high utilization and quality.
Develop vision, goals and roadmap for one or more digital products. Drive product ideation to launch efforts, including research, requirements definition and metrics analysis.
Understand voice of business/customer and document business processes to align efforts across business areas, prioritizing as necessary and facilitating execution to maintain focus and appropriate momentum.
Determine audience needs to develop program proposals and blended learning pathways based on research, needs assessment, and gap analysis.
Determine which digital platforms are appropriate for specific education goals and strategies.
Manage and lead the creation and ongoing development of Virtual Fundamentals program
Continue to develop and grow learner pathways based on a variety of needs areas
Update and continue to develop online learner badge programs
Creation of SAP programs from inception to deployment both virtually and in hard copy where needed
Manage all aspects of each assigned digital learning product or program from inception to completion, including budgets, program plans, timelines, and contracts.
Document business requirements for all education platform improvements and project managing all changes from end to end, with technical support from IT partners.
Troubleshoot ongoing issues, working collaboratively with cross-functional partners to develop and implement solutions to any technical challenges.
Develop and measure performance with KPI indicators across all initiatives. Track and oversee data and impact measurement.
Understand, and with the help of the Education & Events Director, manage budget and oversight of administrative support on all related digital platforms.
Obtain modules, e-learning content, instructional materials, and instructor-led training materials on a variety of topics for multiple audiences. Deliver content that is optimized for media format and audience.
Oversee vendor management process if needed for publication of instructional design materials on an LMS.
Identify and leverage internal and external digital design teams to help create and streamline production of quality content.
Lead cross-functional work teams and work closely with stakeholders to identify business needs regarding digital technologies and best practices for developing, storing and deploying digital leaning assets.
Collaborate with Education team in planning, designing, developing and managing digital experience, priorities, and resources.
Lead multiple project activities simultaneously, working with internal and external cross-functional groups.
Apply compliance requirements within scope of responsibility, provide documentation as necessary, and participate in compliance activities as required.

Thorough knowledge of program development and technology logistics associated virtual learning
Knowledge of curriculum development design methodologies (human-centered, lean, etc.)
Ability to accurately prepare and maintain records, files, and reports and ability to review documents and data for accuracy.

Working knowledge of the MS Office Suite, association management systems (AMS), crowdsource/speaker platforms

Ability to determine course level and write appropriate learning objectives, as well as the ability to map activities to objectives and/or competencies.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
Occasionally may need to lift a box up to 35 pounds.
A Bachelor’s degree in education, adult learning, or administration is required; a Master’s degree level is preferred.
Minimum five (5) years of progressive experience in a digital education, digital program manager or digital content manager type role.
Experience with vendor management as well as working with a diverse group of customers
Demonstrated strong communication skills and interpersonal skills with ability to liaison between technical and functional resources across divisions
Ability to translate voice of customer and business needs into technical solutions
Experience gathering requirements, user acceptance testing, and launching new systems
Knowledge of compliance guidelines and other regulations relative to continuing medical education (CME), training, and communications
Experience in increasing business efficiency through IT solutions, launch, and training
Strategic agility and ability to create breakthrough strategies and plans
Creative thinker, open to change, and learns quickly when facing new problems
Demonstrated ability to act with autonomy and independence while fulfilling priorities and meeting critical deadlines
Proven organizational and project management skills with a focus on digital.
Position currently has remote option with in-person required 2x a month.
