The American Society of Transplant Surgeons (ASTS) is a medical specialty society representing approximately 1,800 transplant surgeons, physicians, scientists, and allied health professionals working in the dynamic field of solid organ transplantation. Our staff is passionate about supporting the scientific research, clinical, advocacy, and educational activities in which our members are engaged. ASTS is seeking a highly motivated, team-oriented individual to play an essential role in ASTS’ membership recruitment and renewals, database maintenance, and overall customer service to ASTS members. The position will also support the annual recognition awards program and provide general administrative support. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: - Maintain clean, complete, and accurate membership database records; Monitor and track data integrity
- Provide reports and queries from membership database as needed
- Respond to and support survey requests
- Support annual Recognition Awards program, tracking entries, providing reports, and communicating with applicants and recipients.
- Organize annual dues renewals process to include coordinating electronic and hardcopy mailed invoices, ongoing dues collections, payment processing, reminders, and terminations.
- Monitor and respond to emails in the general ASTS inbox and provide customer support for incoming calls from ASTS members
- Respond to and support special data requests
- Support and coordinate scheduling for ASTS leadership calls and meetings as needed
- Serve as primary staff liaison to the Cellular Transplantation, Thoracic, and Scientific Studies Committees
- General administrative duties and other duties as assigned
- Some travel required (2-3 times per year)
