ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Develop go-to-market audience strategies, product messaging and positioning for all NACD events, including on-demand virtual courses, live events, and our annual member Summit.
- Working with the Brand team, identify and develop credentialing brand strategy, value proposition, and brand architecture. Develop and execute certification awareness campaign.
- Develop go-to-market audience strategies, product messaging and positioning for NACD Credentialing, including NACD Certification and NACD Fellowship.
- Oversee the marketing strategies related to the business lines of Board Advisory Services and Board Recruitment.
- Lead promotional planning process for NACD product lines
- Blueprint the member journeys for products and map appropriate buyer decisions and information needs at each stage of the funnel.
- Own reporting of key product and marketing metrics
- Monitor competitive landscape and proactively identify new growth opportunities for product lines
- Prepare, present and sell-in aspects of the product marketing plan to management, cross-functional partners, and external stakeholders.
- Manages three direct reports and affiliated outside vendors.
- Performs other duties, as assigned.
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Administration, plus seven years of related marketing experience, including a minimum five years of progressively increasing responsibility in product marketing experience and/or marketing experience in a membership organization. Supervisory and employee development experience. Excellent written and oral communication skills; can show hybrid of analytical and creative thinking. Daily demonstration of marketing expertise and proactive, thoughtful strategy. Proven working knowledge of marketing buying funnel and marketing best practices. Experience with leading product campaigns. Matrix-management experience and demonstrated ability to manage projects on time and on budget. Why Work at NACD?
