Primary Responsibilities

• Serve as lead staff liaison to Clinical Practice Committee, Palliative Care Committee, Wellness Committee and Program Directors Network.
• Collaborates with Marketing and Communications Dept. to develop and implement marketing plans to promote clinical practice activities and resources.
• Oversee and coordinate the development, distribution and publication of SGO documents (policies, guidelines, practice statements, etc.) in peer-reviewed journals.
• Serve as lead project manager of practice-based initiatives and recruit volunteers for projects.

Governance

• Support the Senior Manager of Governance and Clinical Practice with improving the volunteer experience, including the appointment process, best practices in committee management and volunteer recognition
• Assists with the following governance initiatives.
  • SGO and FWC Board of Directors (BOD) and Executive Committee (EC) meetings.
  • Tracking organizational liaison reports.
  • Appointment of Volunteers process
  • Committee Support

Secondary Responsibilities

• Staying abreast with current technology and tools necessary to perform the responsibilities of the job

• Keeping up with current issues in gynecologic oncology
