Position Summary: In coordination with the Deputy Executive Director, the Manager is responsible for overseeing the full life cycle of WTSI membership while ensuring the health and development of WTS chapters through efficient services, programs, and operational support. Collaborating with the Marketing + Events department, the Manager will execute strategic promotional campaigns showcasing member benefits, highlighting chapters, and recognizing member growth and achievements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: MEMBERSHIP: Work with Executive team to develop and implement effective membership recruiting and retention strategies. Assist the WTS Foundation [c(3) entity of the Association] with student related campaigns.
CHAPTER RELATIONS: Maintain strong partnerships with WTS Chapters and leadership by ensuring efficient operational support, maintaining service offerings, programs and leadership support. Develop interest and assist chapters in formation to ratification.
MEMBERSHIP PROGRAMS: Collaborating with the Marketing + Events department, develop, execute, and provide relevant, high-level content and assets in support of WTSI member and chapter programs.

Work Environment and Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands to finger, handle or feel. The employee is frequently required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree with an excellent work record. Must have 4+ years of related experience in a membership position at a nonprofit or association. Experience working within membership databases is required. Must have 2+ years supervisory experience. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
