The Manager of Marketing and Strategic Partnerships is the primary source of knowledge and leads the development and implementation of all NCRA’s marketing and communications efforts. The position also helps to identify and build strategic partnerships. Working closely with the Executive Director, staff, and relevant committees, the Marketing and Strategic Partnerships Manager creates, refines, and executes strategic work plans. The position’s goal is to expand and elevate the perception of the profession and the work of the association.
What is needed to be considered a candidate for the position:
Proven history of developing and implementing effective strategic marketing and communications plans.
Strong experience with developing and managing successful social media campaigns.
High proficiency with project management, market research, promotional copywriting, and editing.
Outstanding oral, written, and presentation skills.
Creative in identifying and executing media opportunities.
Proficient in office productivity software, email marketing services, and social media platforms.
Excellent command of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
History and interest in establishing and maintaining effective, collaborative working relationships with other staff and leadership.
Works well under pressure to meet deadlines while making sound decisions; able to accommodate shifting priorities.
Strong attention to detail.
Have a naturally positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to be self-reliant.
Good listener with ability to accept and apply constructive feedback.
Experience and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications or another related field. Five or more years’ work-related experience in communication, marketing or another related field within an association with direct experience in all aspects of the activities outlined in the position description.
This is a fulltime position with benefits. NCRA is currently operating in a capacity that supports in office and remote hours. Our work environment supports a flexible work schedule, with a generous benefit package.
Telecommuting is allowed.
Additional Salary Information: Salary will be discussed and determined based on the candidate's experience, skills, knowledge and previous work history. The salary range determined for this position is low $50K to mid $60K annually.
