Purpose: To develop and implement innovative educational programming in residential and commercial real estate, real estate specialties, leadership and new member orientation. Serves as staff liaison to Professional Development related committees. Supervises Professional Development Coordinator.
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer
Develops and implements professional development, continuing education, and leadership development programs.
Develops and manages the New Member Orientation and Leadership Institute program.
Selects courses and instructors and coordinates class implementation.
Promotes sponsorship for education programs.
Handles inquiries for professional development, classes, licensure, and continuing education requirements.
Prepares and submits education program information for scheduling, promotion, and publication.
Serves as staff liaison to the Professional Development and Leadership Institute Committees.
Global Business Council (GBC)
Develops and implements Global Business education programs, such as CIPS courses, At Home with Diversity, etc.
Develops and implements annual Global Conference and networking events.
Completes and submits the annual NAR Global Achievement Award entry.
Coordinates GBC networking events and annual holiday party.
Coordinates member participation in international trade shows.
Develops recruitment materials to promote membership in the GBC.
Serves as staff liaison to the Global Business Committee.
REALTOR®/Attorney Joint Committee (RAJC)
Coordinates legal education programs.
Coordinates legal topics contributions to Association publications and communications channels.
Communicates suggestions to the Joint State Committee of the FL BAR and FR for modifications to real estate forms.
Serves as staff liaison to the REALTOR®/Attorney Joint Committee.
Property Management Council (PMC)
Develops and implements property management education programs.
Coordinates PMC networking events.
Develops recruitment materials to promote membership in the PMC.
Serves as staff liaison to the Property Management Committee.
Prepares annual budgets for assigned areas of responsibility, operates within budget and ensures all programs are planned for break-even or produce a net income.
Coordinates GBC, PMC, and RAJC contributions to Association publications and communications channels.
Participates in the annual strategic planning retreat.
Performs other duties as assigned by the CEO.
Experience in association professional development or as education manager/director.
Ability to learn independently and use an industry specific AMS.
