SNMMI is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant who excels at multi-tasking. The individual in this position will perform general administrative duties, focusing on administrative support for SNMMI’s councils and centers, the technologist section, and the grants and awards program. The individual will report to the Senior Director of Governance and Member Engagement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provides administrative support for the Senior Director of Governance and Member Engagement.
Performs general administrative duties such as copying, faxing, shipping and processing of forms (RPA’s).
Provides administrative support for the SNMMI Mentoring Platform and Career Center.
Provides administrative support to the SNMMI Chapters working to enhance the chapter/national relationship.
Coordinates SNMMI Future Leaders Academy and SNMMI-TS Leadership Academy including; logistics and communication.
Provides administrative support to the Technologist Section governance to include; SNMMI-TS Executive Board, SNMMI-TS National Council of Representatives - attends meetings, takes minutes and assists the Senior Director in maintaining appropriate records.
Coordinates travel and schedule for the SNMMITS leadership to attend various meetings (including flight arrangements, hotel and car services, if needed).
Works with the Meetings Department to coordinate governance meetings. (This includes, but is not limited to overall room set, food/beverage orders, rooming lists, tent cards, audio visual requirements, etc.)
Develops of the SNMMI-TS Leadership schedules for the Mid-Winter, Annual, EANM and RSNA meetings. This includes scheduling all leadership meetings and working with Senior Director to develop the agenda’s for the meetings.
Coordinates SNMMI-TS committee appointments process, prepares appointment book, sends appointments letters, and updates committee records in iMIS.
Telework up to 2 days a week may be available after 3 months of employment. Flexible work schedule.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree and/or 1-3 years of administrative experience. Program coordination and experience with CMS Plus or other similar web-based content management system a plus.

Multi-tasker, organized, ability to track incoming and outgoing correspondence and coordinate the flow of paperwork and emails. Ability to maintain effective working relationships with others; to handle confidential work, to interpret and handle routine matters. Communicate effectively and professionally. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
This position will travel at least two times a year (Mid-Winter and Annual Meetings) as well as travel locally at least two times a year (spring and fall board meetings). In addition, the position may be required to travel to various stand-alone board meetings. Additional travel may be required.
