Project Management/Program Development, Research and Information
Full-time exempt position in Durham, NC for a vibrant medical professional association. This position is responsible for overall management of the Society's research and clinical standardization efforts. Responsibilities include managing guideline writing groups, including proposal development and approval, selection and organization, COI resolution, peer review cycle, budget and publication coordination. Ideal candidate has prior experience as a supervisor as the position will include supervision of several staff members in the research arm of the Society and management of consultants including medical editors and illustrators. Other duties include making presentations to leadership, working with a variety of volunteers to complete projects, directing guideline translation activities with international volunteers, traveling to staff writing group meetings, coordinating website and promotional campaigns for new standards, and being the point of contact for questions related to the Society's science-related activities.
