ASMI is seeking a Senior Accountant to provide financial management and federal contracts management services to a variety of non-profit clients. Specific duties and responsibilities include:
Maintain ASMI and client financial management.
Manage ASMI's accreditation documentation and renewals including annual internal audits.
Produce financial performance and other metric reports for client activities; complete annual benchmarking surveys.
Bank reconciliations, accounts monitoring and reporting.
Record and allocate credit card receipts.
Produce monthly finance reports and periodic presentations for ASMI clients including graphics and trends analysis.
Prepare year-end statements for IRS reporting including Forms 1099, etc.
Ensure federal and state reports are filed as required including state corporation commission reports.
Support client audits.
Manage federal awards for several ASMI clients including reporting, reimbursement requests/drawdowns, compliance with federal contract requirements, manage subcontracts, help prepare budgets and paperwork for ongoing and new awards including SF424s, SF424As, certifications, SF270s and others as needed.
Assist the Director of Finance & Admin as needed to ensure efficient and effective client support.
Supervise IT provider, hardware, software and technology applications to support office operations.
Assist with the administration of insurance policies.
Maintain HR records such as job descriptions, benefits administration, new hire recruiting and onboarding.
Provide short-term support for projects and other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and 7-10 years directly-related experience. Extensive proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suites such as Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint is required. Working knowledge of member management software is required.
