We're looking for a Director, Multi-Media Communications to join our ranks - an individual who is energetic, self-motivated, detail oriented, and customer-service focused. This individual will be responsible for crafting and executing the association’s social media, video, newsletter and print communications strategy.
Sets and implements AGC’s video and audio communications strategies, including preparing key video and podcast products and supervising outside vendors working on those projects.
Helps direct and manage AGC’s social media efforts and presence on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Flickr, etc.
Develops and regularly posts appropriate content to AGC’s social media channels.
Prepares content and strategy for various print publications, including newsletters, the Annual Report and other as-needed products.
Manages AGC’s electronic newsletters – coordinating communication efforts and ensuring all newsletters are consistent, on-time and high-quality.
Serves as primary liaison with Naylor, LLC and manages AGC's content in Constructor
Responsible for AGC’s yearly Annual Report, writing and organizing content, while integrating annual theme and design.
Serves as day-to-day liaison between AGC and daily newsletter publisher SmartBrief.
Manages AGC’s relationship with key internal communications vendors who provide services like bulk email and newsletter development.
Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, media studies or similar field.
Minimum of 1-3 years-experience in press/communications/media preferred.
Strong verbal and written communications skills a must.
Strong knowledge of social media communication tools required.
Interest/experience in video production/visual communications preferred.
Ability to meet deadlines required.
Qualified candidate will thrive in a team environment, be capable of juggling multiple activities at once and have strong interpersonal skills.
