What we're looking for: We are seeking a talented individual who will lead the Project Management Office. The role will require leadership in both business analysis and project management functions. The role works throughout RSNA to successfully deliver top tier initiatives in both IT and non-IT functions in such a way that promotes a clear strategic vision. This individual provides direction to BAs (Business Analysts) and PMs (Project Managers) in managing the project scope, requirements, timelines, resources and all other project related tasks. This role is responsible for managing the entire portfolio of projects which includes planning, execution, finalizing and follow-up work.

What you'll do:
Oversees the business analysis and project management of major projects. Proactively identifies projects and programs throughout the organization that can benefit from PMO support and consults with stakeholders to prioritize projects in alignment with strategic goals.
Establishes/enhances processes to manage all programs/projects/work streams effectively.
Provides leadership and guidance to the Business Analysts and Project Managers.
Establishes industry standard processes and techniques for scoping/requirements gathering and project management.
Verifies and validates the program/project plans, ensuring adherence to standards and alignment with the vision.
Guides the PMO teams in continually managing project expectations. Identifies risks, oversees development of mitigation strategies, and provides objective reporting to stakeholders.
Collects, analyzes and reports on project successes, hurdles and failures, including lessons learned, to improve management and delivery of future projects.
Oversees development of RFPs and vendor selection process.
Responsible for hiring, development, evaluation and performance management within the department. Maintains an environment to support professional development and growth of employees to their fullest potential.
What you'll need:
Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred
10 or more years of program/project management experience in IT fields, demonstrated success managing large scale programs/projects end-to-end
Successful track record in implementing/enhancing project management process
Must be exceptionally experienced in developing plans bringing together information on projects, resources, timescales, monitoring and controls
Experience in effectively communicating project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
Able to manage day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of PMO
Professional credentials highly preferred (such as PMP, Six Sigma, Scrum)
Proven success as a supervisor, coach and developer of professional staff
Able to continuously assess performance, research and develop new capabilities, and systematically apply learning and knowledge to the projects
Experience in establishing industry standard process and techniques for scoping/requirements gathering and project management
Experience in providing leadership and guidance to Business Analysis and Project Management teams in establishing working relationships with different business units
Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
Provides technical leadership and guidance of traditional and Agile project management frameworks
