Elevanta is searching for a DYNAMIC sales professional to join our growing organization! The Sales and Development Manager is responsible for all advertising sales for digital and print publications, website and electronic newsletters, sponsorship packages, and exhibitor booth sales for all of Elevanta’s association clients. Current clients include several franchisee associations representing Burger King, Buffalo Wild Wings, Qdoba and Planet Fitness franchisees. The ideal candidate must thrive in a challenging and fast-paced environment and enjoy learning about our various clients businesses to help build relationships with system franchisees and vendors.
Design and implement a strategic sales plan that expands company’s and our clients customer base and ensure a strong revenue source for the overall organization and our clients
Inside sales of exhibitor booths, corporate sponsorships and advertising
Develop leads, make cold calls to vendors and close sales for: exhibit space at national conferences and events, corporate sponsorship for national and regional events, advertising for magazine publications, advertising for e-publications
Develop extensive contact list of sponsors, advertisers, and prospects for various client groups
Sell print-style ads for digital and print magazines, banner ads, and varying levels of sponsorships packages
Ensure vendor payments are collected
Coordinate conference sponsorship and exhibition with meeting planners and other office staff
Contribute new ideas for event sponsorships
Renewal of past exhibitors
Maintain exhibitor prospecting, sales, contact activity, and follow up records for accounts
Maintain a high volume of sales outreach activity, including outbound calls, emails, and in-person prospecting
Work closely with association leadership staff to ensure non-dues revenue goals are achieved

Bachelor’s Degree in related field required
4+ years of demonstrated sales success
Advertising/sponsorship sales experience
Exceptional negotiation and communication skills (verbal and written)
Knowledge of contract management and sales tactics
Ability to raise funds from different industry tiers
Ability to create multiple strategies to reach ad revenue goals
Ability to establish and maintain relationships with vendors
Highly organized and self-motivated
Outstanding relationship management and reporting skills
Good time management skills, ability to prioritize, and proactive work ethic
Technically savvy with experience in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel) and, MemberNation association management software and SalesForce
Some travel required
