The Association Manager works directly with the Executive Director to ensure the operational success of the client association.
Manages membership databases, record-keeping, reporting and other administrative tasks.
Develops and manages association website content.
Acts as meeting planner for board and committee meetings and annual meetings.
Acts as primary contact for members, non-members and interested parties, responding to mail, email and telephone calls.
Works with other staff professionals in coordination of conferences.
Assists Executive Director with Board and committee preparation and activities.
Develops and maintains annual communications plan and coordinates distribution of email communications to members and other identified audiences.
Reviews and analyzes information affecting members and drafts and disseminates appropriate reports and other communications.

Ability to maintain professionalism in stressful situations.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, able to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to think strategically and use independent judgment.
Good keyboard and MS application (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and database management skills; Dreamweaver experience a plus.
Minimum 3 years association management experience and bachelor’s degree required.
