Education and Training, Project Management/Program Development
Reports To: Director of Professional Development
Position Classification: Exempt
POSITION SUMMARY: Manage the curation, production and delivery of all ASSP virtual educational offerings.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES (duties include but are not limited to):
Translate the continuing education needs of the occupational, safety and health (OSH) professionals into virtual educational offerings and operational plans to achieve budgeted revenue targets, including but not limited to:
Assess the learning needs of OSH professionals
Plan virtual education calendar
Speaker/SME solicitation and coordination
Manage design of virtual educational offerings
Deliver virtual educational offering
Solicit feedback for continuous improvement and maintenance of virtual education offerings
Work collaboratively with standards and marketing teams to identify and develop appropriate virtual educational offerings
Partner with marketing team to create micro-learning modules/courses as needed for sales funnel initiatives
Accountable to ensure all virtual education meetings the criteria outlined by IACET for the issuance of CEUs.
Manage a diverse set of stakeholders and expectations including volunteer leaders
Manages vendor relationships and direct report(s) as needed
Oversees virtual education budget
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Adult Education or Instructional Technology a plus.
Five plus years of experience; demonstrated ability to develop adult educational training programs in both the virtual and traditional classroom.
Experience administering and moderating events in a virtual classroom environment.
Experience in eLearning development and project management.
Experience administering a Learning Management System a plus.
Experience in a membership and/or professional association a plus.
Knowledge of the training market and/or technical areas, specifically safety-related field, a plus.
Capacity for innovative thinking and creative strategizing to enhance profitability.
Highly-developed interpersonal skills, strong entrepreneurial approach, affinity for networking and high level of confidence and poise with a strong customer service orientation.
Flexible with a strong work ethic.
Strong negotiation skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and other applications.

Full-time position with the ability to work M-F during normal business hours.
Ability to travel to meetings and/or annual conference.
