The IT Administrator position will provide helpdesk and technical support to NBCRNA staff, assist in administrative and technical support for our credentialing software, and help create and optimize current NBCRNA IT policies and procedures. The IT Administrator will work closely with our IT support team to create and standardize performance metrics surrounding our support requests and technology challenges.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned.
Supports credentialing platform and assists internal and external customers.
Provides technical support for end user computer systems, software, printers, VoIP phone systems, and recognizes and communicates technical problems to the appropriate IT staff or vendor.
Field incoming support requests from customers via both telephone and support email.
Assist in creating IT processes in relation to new or departing employees, incoming or outgoing committee members.
Perform hands-on fixes at the workstation level, including installing and upgrading software, implementing file backups, and configuring systems and applications.
Primary point of contact for all office equipment maintenance to include printers, copiers, VoIP phone system, wireless projectors, and others as necessary.
Assist with NBCRNA website maintenance, when needed.
Prepare and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and knowledge-based articles (Wiki) for NBCRNA IT business processes.
Help coordinate new IT projects or initiatives as necessary.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
High level of integrity in dealing with confidential and sensitive information.
Ability to work independently, and solve problems.
Experience as a System Administrator with proficiency in Active Directory (User Accounts, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, RRAS VPN).
Experience working with Microsoft 365 email, SharePoint, and other provided services in the Microsoft Cloud.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel, to manipulate and perform quantitative and trend analysis, generate charts.
Clear understanding of networking topologies and protocols, Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN).

Ability to take a complex problem and divide into smaller, simpler components.
Enthusiastic attitude and passion for solving problems.
Strong understanding of relational database concepts. (SQL, MySQL, Oracle)
Experience using Crystal Reports or Business Objects by SAP.
Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university with Information Technology interest preferred. One to three years relevant work experience in an association or corporate environment.
