Marketing, Membership, Project Management/Program Development
The Senior Manager works collaboratively with volunteer leaders and Senior Staff to develop content and deliver high quality programs and resources for the membership.
Essential Job Functions
Create new avenues of participation for Association members and provide substantive content development for food industry segments.
Serves as liaison between committees and councils. Participates in committee and council meetings and conferences.
Partner with marketing team to support the development and implementation of content marketing activities to increase participation in committees and councils.
Working with committees and councils, secure whitepapers and other research for the network/council section of FPSA’s website.
Work with committees and councils, developing content and programs for sessions at annual conference and trade show.
Recruit members to participate in committees.
Works with staff at PROCESS EXPO on substantive educational programming and materials.
Develops mission statement with committee leadership. Works with senior staff to develop rules of procedures for committees.
Develops relevant promotion content for each committee and coordinate with marketing for distribution.
Develop and disseminate through social media, content for committees.
Sources content and host webinars annually.
Provides content for monthly membership newsletter.
Other Job Functions
With Senior Staff, develops budget for networks and councils.
Maintain records in both the Association’s membership database and board member website.
The ability to travel for work including weekends on occasion.
Other duties as assigned.
Education, Skills & Experience Required
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) and or four years’ experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Strong interpersonal communication and relationship building skills to initiate and develop productive working partnerships with members.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and webinar software.
