The American Council of Life Insurers seeks an attorney to manage policy development and implementation of assigned issues affecting the life insurance industry. Position also staffs assigned committees/task forces, provides technical and legal support to ACLI staff and assists in preparing testimony and draft comments regarding legislative/regulatory proposals.
The position requires a Law Degree and at least five years of relevant experience. Knowledge and experience working in the financial services industry, particularly insurance, is strongly preferred. Requires strong government relation skills and ability to work with people with conflicting interests and facilitate agreement. Must also be able to transform issues and arguments into written documents that are accurate, understandable and persuasive. The ACLI offers a competitive compensation and benefits package.
