Washington-DC trade association seeks a front desk professional to manage the reception area, assist the Human Resources department with the administration of benefits programs as well as administrative tasks, and support other departments as needed. Duties include but are not limited to: answering the main telephone, greeting guests and accepting deliveries; maintain the reception area to ensure a professional environment; assisting with maintenance requests; managing conference room schedules; preparing correspondence and files for the HR department; scheduling interviews and related tasks; supporting the administration of HR programs as well as processing invoices; and assisting other departments with administrative duties and projects as needed.
Qualifications include: H.S. diploma and a minimum of two year’s office/receptionist experience; Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required; Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to provide strong customer service; The ability to maintain effective relationships with employees, board members and outside guests; Must be a flexible and collaborative team member; Must be detail-oriented, well-organized with the ability to manage multiple projects & priorities simultaneously; Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality in working closely with the HR department.
