The Global Student Entrepreneurs Awards (GSEA) Coordinator provides operational support to all activities, member leaders, students and non-members associated with GSEA. This position is the engine that ensures everyone is where they need to be, with their materials, and ready to execute, at every GSEA function globally.
The GSEA Coordinator also drives the health and growth of the program within EO by providing tactical support to GSEA chairs, promoting GSEA to member leaders and maintaining all training and promotional materials.
The role supports the GSEA Subcommittee with scheduling calls, taking notes, tracking actionable items and providing weekly reports.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Local/Regional Competition Support
Provide tactical support to local GSEA chairs, GSEA Experts and planning committees (specific regions to be determined)
Track all student applications in dashboard and maintain updates to all applications as necessary
Maintains regional dashboards on SamePage
Source applicants for competitions as needed
Confirm all competition dates and maintain global calendar
Collect and maintain GSEA competition photos from all local and national competitions globally
Send weekly reports to planning committees with the number of applications they have for each event
Develop and update all necessary collateral to promote and run GSEA locally.
Identify target chapters to host competitions to grow the program
Liaise with all partner organizations running GSEA competitions.
Research and maintain a list of Universities interested in promoting GSEA.
Create and assemble judges’ packets and name badges for all globally managed competitions
Travel to EO and partner conferences to represent and promote GSEA as needed
Moderate competitions on site as needed
Collect agenda items, coordinate agenda with Director and send out to Subcommittee prior to call
Take notes on Sub-Committee calls and provide administrative support as needed
Track progress towards goals and maintain an up to date dashboard on Samepage
GSEA Global Finals
Global Finalist Management
Coordinate, support and track travel arrangements for all student competitors
Provide necessary documentation for student visas
Create and execute global finalist communication strategy & schedule
Host pre-competition webinars
Collect and coordinate content about student competitors for marketing materials, program book and student videos
Manage mobile app content, schedule communications
Maintain and update registration list of students, judges, guests
Assist Director with guest registration process
Prepares all items for packing & shipping
Provide content to be included in EO Publications promoting GSEA
Provide necessary content for funding proposals, white papers, and GSEA presentations
Manage and monitor all social media platforms in accordance with social media strategy
Other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience:
Associates degree in business, education, non-profit or related field
1 - 3 years’ experience in event or program management, marketing, and/ or organization of people and programs, preferably in the non-profit environment (experience in lieu of education will be considered)
Strong ability to work in teams with high accountability
Strong written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff and members from around the world
Exceptional communication, organizational, and time management skills
Bachelor’s degree in business, education, event management or related field
Experience managing events, including program budgets and coordinating marketing
Strong ability to work in teams with high accountability
International experience a plus
Non-English speaking language skills a plus
Experience working with member-led committees and facilitators
