The American Association of Colleges of Nursing seeks a Human Resources Specialist. Responsibilities include benefits administration, payroll, recruiting and hiring, employee training, new staff onboarding/orientation, employee relations and recognition, managing performance evaluation process, HR policy and procedure development, and other HR functions. In addition, provides high level assistance with office operations and special projects. Candidate must possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively and sensitively across the organization. Must be highly organized, detail orientated and able manage multiple competing priorities quickly. Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in Human Resources; nonprofit background is preferred.
