Strategic Planning
* Support BOD and President in developing the strategic plan
* Support implementation and assist with communication of the plan
* Provide recommendations and adaptation of the plan as necessary
Committee Meetings
* Support the Committee Chair and members at all meetings
* Participate in monthly committee conference calls
* Assist with agenda preparation as requested
* Prepare draft minutes from each meeting as requested
* Communicate key actions to other Committees and the BOD as requested
Board Chair, Executive Committee, and Board of Directors
* Provide professional and competent support as requested
* Ensure effective and up to date communications
* Update and advise of Association activities and current issues
Member benefits and membership growth
* Assist with maintaining unique member benefits and membership value
* Support all efforts to communicate benefits to membership
* Create and implement methods to increase Association membership Communications
* Ensure current and accurate reporting to all membership
* Ensure all staff communications are courteous and prompt
* Update and maintain the Association’s website
* Represent the Association and provide public communications as requested
* Provide a centralized resource for all Association communications
Financial Management
* Guide preparation of annual budgets and monthly financial statements
* Prepare monthly agenda and reports for Finance Committee
* Manage banking relationships, cash payments, and account balances, and oversee bookkeeper
* Coordinate annual financial audit per the association bylaws
* Communicate changes or issues with financial status promptly
* Provide suggested improvements in financial performance
* Ensure competence, ethics, and proper financial protocols are consistently followed
Continuing Education
* Support all continuing education efforts
* Negotiate contracts with vendors for CE events and locate venues to host CE events
* Ensure effective implementation of all CE programs
* Assist with continued enhancement of education methods
* Prepare annual and 5-year accreditation reports
* Monitor that CE programming and procedures are in compliance accreditation standards
Operations
* Direct, monitor, and assist in all operational activities of the Association
* Lead and direct all internal staff and external services
* Ensure membership database is consistently available, accurate, and updated
* Assist with other administrative tasks as needed |
