Provide administrative support to the CEO, the Senior Leadership Team and our Board of Directors. Responsibilities will include the following:
Research, prioritize and follow up on incoming issues and concerns identified by and/or addressed to the CEO and BOD, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature. Recommend appropriate course of action, referral or response
Work closely with the CEO to keep her informed of and prepared for upcoming commitments and responsibilities, and to ensure her appropriate follow up.
Guide ongoing and effective communication with the Board of Directors as well as creates and maintains the overall schedule of Board and Committee meetings. Monitor Board communications calendar and coordinate with assigned staff to prepare and deliver their assignments. Create meeting(s) timeline, prepare and distribute meeting notifications, and agenda materials, managing all correspondence around meeting execution. Attend Board and working group meetings and record and circulate minutes. Facilitate the production of subcommittee meeting summaries for the general body and the process of e-votes in the event that it is warranted. Attends Board and Board Committee meetings, coordinating attendance of presenters, acting as the gatekeeper for all sessions, and assists with preparation of Board and Committee minutes. Makes arrangements related to meetings, including coordinating logistical arrangements for Board of Directors and Board Committee meetings, including facilities and catering requirements and seating arrangement.
Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent and 5 years of relevant experience in high-level, administrative support with minimum 3 years’ experience working with a Board of Directors and/or Board appointed committees.
Reliable, self-motivated, focused, positive attitude, flexible, and proactive.
Ability to create and sustain strong working relationships; excellent interpersonal
skills including ability to effectively partner with BOD members and to
collaborate with staff at all levels.
Ability to identify creative solutions that address time, budget, quality, with
demonstrated skill in negotiation.
Possesses sound judgment in decision-making and exceptional boundaries related to
