Social Media Management
Manages RSNA social media brand and sub-brand presences on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube and other channels as appropriate. Manages posting and responding on all channels.
Develops and manages social media content and editorial calendar on a monthly basis, reflecting business needs, initiatives and organizational marketing priorities throughout.
Manages paid posting initiatives and works with marketing team to create campaigns to support marketing goals.
Monitors social media conversations and actively participates in relevant discussions. Provides customer service as necessary.
Monitors social media analytics and develops status reports; uses knowledge gained to identify trends and industry-leading practices to apply new thinking and innovation to RSNA social media programs. Gathers insights and market research related to RSNA customer needs and habits and current events. Shares knowledge with Marketing team and other departments.
Proposes and launches new social media tactics and channels that suit RSNA marketing objectives.
Writes copy for social media platforms and marketing pieces, including websites, PowerPoint presentations, reports and other marketing projects as assigned. Maintains organizational voice and brand standards in marketing and communications.
Meets with marketing team and staff from respective departments to understand audiences, media, goals and key messages in order to write copy for social media and other marketing projects.
Helps maintain quality control of marketing pieces by serving as a proofreader on projects as assigned.
3 - 5 years relevant professional experience in marketing environment
Professional experience with paid and organic social media required; agility to adapt to new platforms as they come online
Knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) best practices
Ability to use excellent judgment in enhancing and safeguarding RSNA's image in all social media outreach
Demonstrates knowledge of analytical and scheduling tools and ability to present summary reports for analysis
Professional writing experience, preferably in healthcare; ability to write for various channels including social media, email and web and various audiences
Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
Experience in community management and customer service
Previous experience with AP style and in-house style guides
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects
Keen attention to detail and accuracy
