Chapter Relations, Customer Service and Support, Membership
The Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC) seeks an experienced professional to provide oversight for customer and member service functions as well as member and chapter engagement. This includes membership recruitment and retention, mentoring, volunteer support, and customer service improvement programs, data integrity and front office coordination.
The focus of this position is on building exceptional and enduring member/customer service, creating innovative solutions for greater department effectiveness and efficiency, and positively impacting APIC's growth and success.
Develops, leads, and manages assigned staff members
Serves as secondary line of member/customer inquiry and may intercede on complex member relations issues
Ensures timely, accurate, and friendly responses to all member and non-member customers.
Develops, manages, and monitors customer service improvement strategies
Monitors accuracy and integrity of data, including duplicate records
Develops and maintains engagement strategies and metrics
Works with marketing and department leadership to achieve specified membership targets
Serves as primary liaison to chapters and chapter officers
Identifies, implements, and measures success of member engagement initiatives.
The successful candidate will have a degree in business or computer science; three to five years of experience working in a supervisory role, preferably in an individual membership association. In addition, in-depth knowledge and understanding of databases, preferably iMIS 20 is required as well as:

Ability to work with and maintain confidentiality of data and information

Additional Salary Information: Mid to upper $60ks to start. Salary commensurate with experience.
